What a beautiful rustic space in our wonderful world! Thank you for seeing its potential and working hard to make it happen. We leave refreshed and very thankful for this special place. Thank you so much for being willing to share it with us.

Well, what can I say? We have been privileged to have a whole week in a little piece of heaven. This place is magical. Peace within peace. Rose and Russell, you are the ‘perfect’ hosts. You leave us alone, but are there for anything we should need. The bird life is amazing. We even had a King parrot knocking on our kitchen window for his breakfast! It will be our dream to return one day. So sad to leave.

Loved the cosy feel of the cottage, especially the fireplace. We all enjoyed playing games at night and were delighted to awake with birdsong (the whip bird beats them all!). A fabulous time at Turkey’s Nest, could have stayed longer.

Such a tranquil spot! We loved looking out over the rainforest and listening to the ‘music’ of the birds – enjoyed the antics of a crimson rosella and a white-headed pigeon competing for seed on our verandah! A cosy fire and everything we needed. Loved the ‘old world’ feel of the cottage – charming! Thanks for creating such a lovely haven away from the hustle and bustle.

Such a beautiful escape from the hustle and bustle. It was so nice to wake up to the sounds of birds not cars. The port was fantastic and the fudge was excellent. It was amazing to end the day with a soak in the big tub. Thank you so much, Rose and Russell, we will be back.

Peaceful getaway really close to Brisbane. Felt like we were much further from home than we really were. Great opportunity to get away from it all and recharge.
